About the Role:
As a Graduate Electrical and Electronic Engineer at LCE, you will collaborate with our engineering team to design, develop, test and optimise our electrical and electronic products that are crucial for the transition to low-carbon technology. This position is ideal for a recent graduate looking to use the technical skills they acquired as an undergraduate and grow within a company dedicated to achieving Net Zero targets across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Hardware Development: We will help you use the Electrical/Electronic knowledge you acquired at university to design, develop, and our Patented technology.
Prototyping: Support the creation and testing of prototypes.
System Optimisation: Collaborate with software engineers to ensure the seamless integration and performance of hardware with and firmware systems.
Research & Development: Engage in R&D initiatives with a focus on pioneering low-carbon technologies, leveraging data science to develop innovative solutions.
Learning & Growth: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills in hardware engineering.
About You
Essential Criteria
Educational Background: A strong Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Electrical and Electronic engineering principles, circuit design, and testing methodologies.
Problem-Solving Mindset: You have a forward-thinking approach to solving problems.
Focused Collaborator: You excel working within your own space but are able to align your efforts with others when it’s critical to success.
Independent Thinker: You bring your unique perspective to the table, integrating your insights with those of others to create innovative solutions.

Passion: You have a strong interest in electrical and electronic engineering and contributing to environmental sustainability.
Location: Based near or willing to relocate to Bolton, Greater Manchester, UK.
Travel: Willingness to occasionally travel to test sites in the UK or Europe.
Continuous Learning: A willingness to engage with all aspects of the business, as this is an SME.
Desirable Criteria
Driving Licence: Possess or are willing to obtain a driving licence.
Coding experience.
